John Wang – Kalshi’s new crypto head joins prediction push.
John Wang just announced he’s joining Kalshi as their Head of Crypto, and the crypto world is buzzing. Kalshi is known for its prediction markets where people can trade on real-world events like elections, sports, or even entertainment. Wang says his mission is to bring more crypto-native features to the platform, like on-chain settlement and stablecoin integration, making it easier for new audiences to get involved.
The hype is real because Wang isn’t just any hire he’s been one of the most recognizable names in the prediction market scene. His announcement came with a Times Square Kalshi billboard moment and a Bloomberg feature, giving it extra weight. People see this as a major signal that prediction markets are stepping out of niche crypto circles and into mainstream finance. For many, Wang’s move could mark the start of Kalshi becoming “the next CME” for event trading.

The White Whale – Trader battles MEXC over frozen millions.
The White Whale, a top trader known for aiming at a $100M profit milestone, is making headlines again but this time, it’s not about big wins. He revealed that crypto exchange MEXC froze over $3M of his funds without explanation. According to him, his only “crime” was being too profitable and consistently beating MEXC’s market makers. To fight back, he put out a $2M bounty for help in getting his money back.
This blew up online because it feels like déjà vu of FTX another case where a centralized exchange is accused of unfair practices. Traders are rallying behind him with hashtags like #FreeTheWhiteWhale, calling it a battle between independent traders and powerful exchanges. The drama escalated further when MEXC allegedly tried to lure him into meeting in person overseas, raising serious safety concerns. For many, this isn’t just about one man’s money it’s about the trustworthiness of centralized platforms.
I Need Your Help - And I'm Putting a $2M Bounty Up For Grabs (half can be claimed by YOU)
Let me start by saying - "I know, I was dumb" (more on that in the FAQs, but no need to comment how dumb I was - I just beat you to it)

Mark Newton CMT – Analyst calls ETH bottom, traders watching.
Mark Newton, Fundstrat’s Global Head of Technical Strategy, just made waves with a bold prediction: Ethereum could hit its bottom within hours. Known for his sharp technical analysis, Newton has built a reputation for spotting market moves before they happen. His recent call on ETH quickly spread across trading circles, fueling chatter among both bulls and bears.
The reason this is trending is simple: Newton’s calls move markets. Crypto Twitter is split some mock his timing while others swear by his charts. His prediction is hitting during a critical period for ETH, with traders searching for signals amid shaky sentiment. With names like Tom Lee amplifying his analysis, this ETH bottom call has the community glued to screens, waiting to see if he nails it again or misses the mark.
Mark @MarkNewtonCMT again at it.

Gondor – New DeFi layer for prediction markets.
A new project called Gondor just entered the scene, and CT (Crypto Twitter) is already buzzing. Built by Arsenii (@iatskar), Gondor aims to create a DeFi layer specifically for prediction markets essentially merging decentralized finance tools with the growing trend of betting on real-world events. With only a few hundred followers so far, the hype isn’t coming from the project’s account, but from big KOLs backing it.
Why the hype? Because Gondor is being positioned as the next big infrastructure play. Well-known names like @zacxbt are already talking about it, and fans are joking that “Middle-earth” is about to host the future of prediction markets. The project hasn’t even launched fully, yet the buzz around being “early” is attracting CT attention. If prediction markets are heating up, Gondor might be the DeFi layer that keeps them running.
