Garrett – criminal and manipulator or best trader of the year?

Garrett Jin is a Chinese crypto entrepreneur and trader. His career includes roles at China Construction Bank, Huobi, and a stint as CEO of BitForex (2017–2019), a now-defunct exchange linked to fraud allegations. He currently operates XHash, a staking and research firm—though he recently removed it from his bio.

Interest in Jin’s persona surged after he opened a multi-million-dollar short position on BTC just one minute before Trump’s tariff-related post on X last Friday. Now, Crypto Twitter is accusing him of insider trading, alleging that he and his associates have close ties to the U.S. President’s family. Whether Jin is simply a skilled trader or an insider remains unclear—but given his track record, not everything about his story seems entirely clean.

YQ — exposing flaws in the current oracle design that led to a market crash.

YQ is the CEO and co-founder of AltLayer, a leading blockchain infrastructure project focused on restaking and rollup-as-a-service solutions. AltLayer enables developers to deploy customizable rollups—Layer-2 scaling solutions—on Ethereum. This makes YQ a prominent voice in the “hardcore infrastructure” side of crypto.

Interest in YQ surged after he published an article on X exposing flaws in the current oracle design that allegedly led to a massive $20 billion market crash on Friday. If you want to understand what really happened, his post is definitely worth a read.

Opinion â€“ new prediction market protocol launches points program.

Opinion Labs is a decentralized blockchain project focused on building the “World’s Opinion Protocol” — a suite of tools that transforms human opinions, predictions, and real-world events into tradable, verifiable assets. Founded in 2023, it operates as a permissionless infrastructure for prediction markets and oracles, allowing users to create markets using any ERC-20 token.

Recently, the project launched a social points program, allowing users to earn points for promoting the project. The initiative has brought strong exposure and increased visibility within KOL circles.

Eye — on-chain investigator exposing market manipulators

Eye positions itself as an “on-chain sleuth.” The account focuses on investigative threads that trace blockchain transactions, uncover wallet connections, and expose potential misconduct such as scams, insider trading, or suspicious large-scale movements.

A recent investigation into Garrett Jin sparked a new wave of interest in Eye’s account. He was the one tracing Jin’s wallets and revealing his persona, while also teasing further investigations into Jin’s ties to the Trump family. Definitely a must-follow if you want to stay updated on insider trading related to Trump’s tweets.
